Personal Mentors
If you would like to help, there are various different ways to become involved. Mentoring is a powerful personal development tool which enables mentees to develop confidence and provides them with an outlet for conversation and guidance on personal development. Empathy is a key factor in mentoring, however, we do not necessarily ask that our mentors be from the same career fields as our mentees. We are looking for individuals who feel that they have some relevant experience to offer our candidates and are able to commit 2-4 hours per month to each candidate that they mentor. A mentor should ask questions and challenge whilst also providing guidance and encouragement.

The Vocational Enterprise Foundation is seeking prospective mentors to join our network. We are looking for people to offer guidance to our candidates both personally and professionally while they undertake their vocational training. One of the most important aspects of our charity is the personal level of involvement with candidates and the support they will receive from us during their vocational course. We are looking to hear from individuals who believe they can help on either a personal or professional level.
